The sixth Muswell Hill Festival was held on Sunday, 9th July, 2000 and it was a damp affair, but that didn't deter the crowds. The event, now in it's sixth year, featured Rod Stewart look-alike Fuddy Hefferman, the band Gringo and a mix of 26 different dance and music acts, including an oriental performance of Tai Chi and Chi Kung. Reggae band Inexile was also
very popular with the crowd.

Fortis Green Road which was closed to traffic all day, was lined with more than 100 stalls with face-painting, food, arts & crafts and a children's area which included a roundabout, rides, face-painting and games. The
street festival, now in it's sixth successive year, attract thousands of people on the day to Fortis Green Road.
