The
Professional Range, launched in January, is designed specifically to withstand
the demands of commercial environments. The trio of products extends the
benefits offered by Saniflos domestic units to the commercial sector. The range
offers installers, clients, shop fitters and refurbishment specialists units
specifically designed for the demanding environments encountered in more
intensive environments.
The range comprises three
products: Sanicom, Sanispeed and Sanibest. Sanispeed and Sanicom are pumps
designed to deal with hot water such as that produced by glass washers and
commercial washing machines. Sanibest is a high performance macerator pumping
system. Together they form the nucleus of a new range specifically designed for
heavy-duty commercial applications.
Sanicom is the premium pump in
the Professional Range with a powerful oil and fan-cooled motor in an aluminium
housing. This enables it to pump water horizontally to 70 metres, vertically to
8m and to accept hot water up to 90ēC for long periods making it ideal for use
in demanding commercial situations such as busy hotels, restaurants and care
homes. Its high flow rate to pumping head performance makes it suitable for use
with, for example, a large sink, an industrial glasswasher/dishwasher or a
combination of showers, baths or sinks. It also has connections for fitting an
external alarm.
Sanispeed is smaller than
Sanicom. It has four 40mm inlets, two at the top and two at the side and will
also accept 90ēC water, though for shorter periods than Sanicom. It is intended
for light commercial use in conjunction with wastewater producing items and
discharging through 32 or 40mm pipework. Its maximum discharge height is 7m with
a flow rate at this height of 43 litres/minute.
Sanibest has a high performance
motor combined with a radical macerator pumping action that will deal with most
objects accidentally disposed of through the WC. Able to accept water at
temperatures of up to 90ēC and designed to work continuously, the unit will
discharge waste and water from WC, urinal, washing machine or dishwasher to a
height of 6m vertically or horizontally to 100m or a lesser combination of both.
