Speed calming
measures or utter madness?
I am in agreement that speed
calming measures are required...
but it would appear that the
matter is now out of hand. Only last week I went over a bump at no more than
15-20mph, this was sufficient to sever the rear end of my exhaust clean off the car. the
hump in question was in ????? Road. This is not the first time that my cars
suspension has been sorely tested by excessive humps.
Perhaps the planners can take their readings over the course of the day instead of during
the school run, when the roads are totally filled by 4 wheel drive monsters, vomiting
their owners offspring through the school gates.
