NEIGHBOURS is a Good Neighbour Scheme covering the N10, N11 & N12 areas of Barnet. They help elderly, disabled, vulnerable and isolated people who cannot help themselves. NEIGHBOURS befriends and visits elderly people and provides transport to clinics, Hospitals, Doctors, does shopping with or for people and collects prescriptions and pensions for those who have difficulty getting out.

NEIGHBOURS also provides a shopping bus service twice weekly to Tesco's Colney Hatch lane. The Co-ordinator, Garry French, can also help with form filling, Benefit Claims or make telephone calls on clients behalf. NEIGHBOURS is always in need of Volunteers, particularly volunteer drivers who could spare an hour or so a week. NEIGHGBOURS operates from 10.00 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday and out of hours an answerphone is in operation.
