WOMEN PREFER CHOCOLATE TO PARTNERS
Chocolate has pushed sex into second place as the most pleasurable experience for Britons, according to new research one out of two women would prefer to nibble a chocolate bar rather enjoy a night of passion. And men, it appears, would much rather munch a chocolate than go for a spin in a sports car, according to the Mori survey commissioned by Cadbury's Dairy Milk.

Britons are the world's greatest chocolate eaters, munching their way through an estimated 595,000 tonnes per year. Many people confessed that chocolate was a substitute for love, a great-pick-me-up and a basic necessity. The majority of men would love to share their chocolate bar with actress Joanne Lumley, closely followed by Friends star Jennifer Aniston. But 25 per cent of males aged 15 to 24 would like Big Breakfast presenter Denise Van Outen to nibble their bar.

Most women opted to have a tasty encounter with movie stars Sean Connery and Mel Gibson, with Prime Minister Tony Blair and EastEnders' Grant Mitchell coming joint third.

To celebrate the nation's passion for chocolate, Cadbury unveiled the world's largest chocolate bar at London's Waterloo Station on Monday. Men Behaving Badly star Leslie Ash took a bite out of the enormous bar, which weighed 1.107 tonnes, was nearly 9ft long, 4ft wide and more than eight inches thick. The record-sized bar contains 3,307 pints of fresh cream milk and consists of 18 moulded chocolate chunks, each weighing 135lbs. It would take the average person about 120 years to eat the bar.
