Muswell Hill By-Election
Ross Laird won the Muswell Hill by-election for the Liberal Democrats. Cllr Laird aims to make education and the environment his top priorities. “I view it as a great privilege to be elected as a Councillor for Muswell Hill. My primary concern is to ensure that the welfare of local residents is paramount, particularly through the maintenance of local services. The key issues should be ensuring that the environment and education services are given a high priority and the Council deals effectively with the Alexandra Palace debt The overall turnout though was a surprisingly low 28% of the electorate.
