Parking outside the cottage is permitted from 6pm at night to 8am the following morning. It is possible to unload during the day, so no problems will be experienced on your arrival. Free parking is available some 50 metres along the street from the house, just before the entrance to St George's Church. There are several fee-paying car parks around Ramsgate, But it is usually quite easy to find a free parking space in most areas as the local council appear to have a sensible approach to vehicles and haven't seriously reduced the number of parking spaces in favour of pay & display bays like so many other greedy councils have. Four off-street parking spaces exist almost next door to the cottage and these are available for your use if free... Good luck! If you are forced to leave your vehicle on the road, it would be a good idea to leave an address in the window, because believe it or not, the traffic wardens will usually knock on the door prior to issuing a ticket!
An unofficial free parking
space is the Aldi car park at the end of Church Road, the owners of the
cottage park their car there and have never encountered any problems
(this valuable piece of information was passed on by a friendly traffic
